We announce the death of Roy Franklin Rowland (Lascassas, Tennessee), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 96. Roy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Rowland; his parents, Joel Rowland and Ofa Rowland; and his siblings, Joel Rowland, Jr., Curtis Rowland, Ray Rowland and Geneva Lovvorn.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Hopkins, Lisa Bloomer (Charles), Kevin Rowland and Dennis Rowland (Angie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lascassas Church of Christ (6402 Lascassas Pike, Lascassas, TN 37085). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Lascassas Church of Christ.
