She was predeceased by: her father Billy Ray Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Opel Joyce Thompson; her husband Donald Ray Vassar, Sr.; her son Donnie Vassar (Nikki); her brother W. R. Thompson; and her grandchildren, Dylan Vassar, Logan Lynch, Braelynn Lynch and Tyler Jackson. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
