She was predeceased by : her parents, Ferd Morefield and Maggie Warren Morefield; her husband Paul Widener; her siblings, Ileen Morefield, Charlotte Morefield Huggins, Gladys Morefield Thornton, Clare Morefield May, Vernie Morefield, Bertie Morefield and Carl Morefield; and her nephews, Bobby Thornton, Wayne May, Ronnie May, David May, Kenny May, Billy Morefield and Jimmy Morefield.

She is survived by : her siblings, Katherine Morefield Wheatley and Russell Morefield; and her nieces, Carolyn Huggins Burns, Margie Morefield Brackin and Tammy Morefield Widener. She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
