He was predeceased by: his parents, Garvin Nichols and Minnie Nichols (McNulty); his wife Sandra Gayle Nichols (Jones); his children, Pamela Studivant Trawick, Donna Love and Charlie Nichols; and his siblings, Buddy Nichols, Thomas Nichols, Carolyn Gatlin, Paul Nichols, Ruth Baker and Betty Lou Breeden.
He is survived by: his daughters, April Nichols Smith of Waukesha, Robin Wilson (Don) of Westchester and Jenny Baker (Jimmy) of Cypress, Illinois; and his sister Pat Brady (Chris) of Union City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cate Cemetery.
