He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Eunice Clay Keeton; and his siblings, Carolyn Keeton, Glenda Long, Joyce Hill and Harold Keeton.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Keeton; his children, Tony Gene Keeton (Jamie) and Diana Michelle Smith (Jason); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Rochelle Keeton, Sadie Elise Smith (Adam Honn), Castin Lane Smith, Austin Green (Elizabeth), Bevin Collins (Seth) and Jimmy Davis (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Aniston Davis, Denton Davis, Raylynn Collins, Brewer Collins and Kynlee Collins; and his siblings, Buck Keeton (Margaret), Billy Keeton, Jimmy Keeton and Sue Holloway (Roger).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
