He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eli and Missie Bell Magee Michael; his wife Vernell Wiley Michael; and his grandson Tanner Kyle Michael. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Hood (Jeff) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Kevin Michael of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandchildren, Missy Hood Story (Brad), Mae Bell Hood, Daniel Hood, Katie Michael Smith (Grant) and Alex Michael; and his great grandchildren, John Daniel Story, Eleanor Smith and Ivy Kate Smith.
The family suggests memorials be made to the VFW Honor Guard.
