He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman C. Willey and Mae Young Willey; his son Andrew Eugene Willey; his brother Larry Jackson Willey; his sister-in-law Evelyne Box Willey; his nephews, Mark Willey and Mike Willey; and his close friends, Herb Mosley, Ruby Mosley and Jeff Mosley.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Legg Willey of Lawrenceburg, TN; his daughters, Leigh Ann Willey of Columbia, TN and Paula Beth Willey Adams (Kevin) of Burns, TN; and his grandchildren, Chaney Annaleigh Adams and Emmeline Corinne Adams.

The family suggests memorials be made to David Crockett State Park to honor his love for wildlife and conservation.
