He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy; his sister Valerie Hensley (Charles); and his brothers-in-law, George Kirms, George Fisher and Paul Lukasik.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia McCarthy; his sons, Michael Alan McCarthy and Dr. Daniel Adam McCarthy (Joanna); his grandson William James McCarthy; his sister Carol Kirms; and his sisters-in-law, Lenore Lukasik and Dr. Norma Fisher (Maurice Consiglio). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
