She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Vantrease and Charmie Williamson Vantrease; her husband Billy Smith; her brothers, Charles Edward Vantrease and Emmett Vantrease; her son Phillip Goolsby; and her son-in-law Jerry Shrum.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Shrum, Ricky Goolsby (Sherrie), Anthony Goolsby (Connie), Sherry Satterfield (Derrick) and Vickie Vaughn (Toby); and her grandchildren, Michael Goolsby, James Goolsby, Mindy Allen, Kathy Farley, Darrell Ferguson, Cristy Eden, Brandy Goolsby, Derrick Goolsby, Ashley Mahaffa, John Ross Fields, Bobby Fields, Rebecca Cooprider, Steven Lawrence, Harley Lawrence, Haley Enoch, Emily Satterfield, Tucker Vaughn and Shayna Vaughn. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Watertown, TN 37184). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
