He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Otto Guenther and Elisabeth Rudin Guenther; his granddaughter Anna Violet Day; and his sister Elizabeth Lieber. He is survived by: his wife Jessica Hensley Guenther; his children, Rachel Duch (David), David Guenther Jr. (Kati) and Jennifer Day (Eddie); his grandchildren, Maximus, Asher, Eliza Duch, Abigail Strader, Anistyn and Emery Guenther; and his siblings, Ruth Koestal, Linda Rasmussen, Mary Lou Heaps, Colleen Ballantine, Wilhelm Guenther and Kenny Guenther.
