It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Waters of Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on February 19, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Hackney and Beulah Mae Hackney; her husband David Waters; and her siblings, Mildred Webb, Hazel Stewart, Shirley McKee and Charles Hackney.

She is survived by : her daughters, Gayle Waters Loftin and Kathy Waters Foster (Stephen); her siblings, Katherine Stanton and Pete Hackney; her grandchildren, Jason Willliams (Tommy), David Foster (Colynn), Zach Foster (Sherida) and Rebecca Foster-Young (Djacob); her great grandchildren, Eric Williams and Sweetpea Wi; and also Tara.
