It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Patrick Carter of Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arnett and Adell Carter (Trammel); his grandparents, Gilbert, Ella Trammel, Lee and Clara Carter; and his cousins, Alex Carter and Charles Cliburn.
He is survived by: his best companion Tizzy; his siblings, David Carter (Mim) of Maine, Debbie Cox (Paul) of Utah, Tim Carter (Rita) of Kentucky and Cathie Bradbury (Bill) of Montana; and his close friends, Mel Gibson, Joe Johnson and Jim Bob. He is also survived by Many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
