He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan E. Owens and Beatrice Frances Bandy Owens; his wife Mary New Owens; and his daughter Mary Katherine Dunn. He is survived by: his son Garry Lynn Owens; his grandchildren, Garry Owens, Holly Lynn Owens, Michael Owens and Stephanie Dejulio; his great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Owens, Jada Lynn Owens, Garry Owens III, Ryker Owens, Vivian and Vincent Monsivaiz; his sister Bessie Strygos; Jerry Owens.
