He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. "Buster" Robertson and Beatrice Holland Parker Robertson; and his sister Rosalind Robertson Ashworth. He is survived by: his wife Linda Robertson; his children, Kathy Weeks (Billy), Beth Wecht (Scott) and Dr. Bill Robertson (Michelle); his grandchildren, Zachary Warmath (Alex), Kerry Wecht (Sara), Andrew Wecht (Katie), Jessica Wecht, Rebecca Lefevre (Luke), William Robertson (Meagan), James Robertson and Noah Robertson; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Lefevre, Camden Wecht, Aidan Warmath, Elliott Wecht and Celia Wecht; his brother Dr. James Buford Robertson (Jane); and his niece Beth Eibl (John). He is also survived by mother to his children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Nature Conservancy or the Southeastern Grasslands Institute.
