We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 92, Hamlet Grissim Halbert (Lebanon, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Halbert and Mary Elizabeth Grissim Halbert; his wife Linda Ann Rowe Halbert; his son Jason Rex Halbert; and his siblings, Mary Sue Bland, Emile Manning, Jean Reasonover, Clara Ingram, Ruth Namnoum, James Kai, Hays, Tommy, John and Robert Halbert.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Halbert (Courtney), Tom Halbert and Beth Pulley (Kirk); his grandchildren, Hailey, Tyler Halbert, Kai Halbert, Levi and Seth Pulley; Tina.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Wilson County Veterans Museum.
