He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Strickland and Laura Strickland; his wife Ruth Strickland; his children, Faith Marie Strickland and Howard "Howie" Strickland; and his brother Harold Strickland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Heim and Becky Dudley. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
