With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jasper Guy Simmons of Lebanon, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Guy Simmons and Vela Ogeal Massey Simmons; his wife Anna June Fuller Simmons; and his siblings, Doris Lane, Irene Lee, Robert and Kenneth Simmons.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne and Michael Simmons; his grandchildren, Makayla Simmons (Andrew Reid) and Austin Simmons; and his brother James Simmons (Carmenza).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
