He was predeceased by: his parents, Grezzju Caruana and Grace Caruana; his wife Antionette "Lina" Caruana; and his siblings, John Caruana, Nina Borg, Lee Caruana, Carmen Grixti and Zena Buhagiar.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth and Brian; his sister Sylvia Borg; his children-in-law, Silvana and Tatia; and his granddaughters, Emily, Olivia and Alison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
