We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 82, Melvin Sloan (Lebanon, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melvin Sloan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Earl and Leona Adams Sloan; and his siblings, Marcus Sloan, Ralph Sloan and Joyce Sloan Smithwick.

He is survived by : his children, David Sloan (Rhonda) and Susan Sloan; his grandchildren, Cody Lannom (Maegen), David Sloan II (Courtney) and Elizabeth Sloan Buck (Ben); his great grandchild Sloane Buck; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon (Torrie) and Christie (David); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooke, Sadie, Anna and Michael; and his siblings, Nelda Sloan Garrett and Robbie Sloan Lea.
