He was predeceased by: his mother Eula Bay; his siblings, Sam Bay, Katie Mae Bay, Nellie Sue Bay and Naomi Jarrell (Tommy); his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Driver, Glenn Driver, Dot Driver and Janet Driver; and his nephew Phillip Bay.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Bay; his son Dale Bay (Leslie); his grandchildren, Christopher Bay (Trish) and Chelsea Nyce (Gregory); his great grandchildren, Gordon Lee and William Thomas Nyce; his siblings-in-law, J. L. Driver, Alton Driver (Barbara Ann), Wayne Driver (Gayle), Mike Driver (Sharon) and Kathy Miller; and his sibling's children, Barbara Ann Driver, Linda Joyce Bay, Larry Bay (Jan) and Ronnie Jarrell (Pat). He is also survived by his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
