He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Richardson and Margaret Erlene Connell Richardson; the mother of his children Shirley Ann Plyler Richardson; and his grandchildren, Diane Lynne Bird and Courtney Deshea Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Bettye Talley Richardson; his stepchildren, David Andrews (Shelia) of Pell City, Jere Andrews (Wanda) and Carol Andrews; Lynn Richardson Bird (David) of Smyrna, Elizabeth Richardson Kane of Nashville and Eddy Richardson (Connie) of Brentwood.
