It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth Ashford of Lebanon, Tennessee is shared. Ruth, born on July 21, 1952, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pleas Watts and Lucy Maggart Watts; and her husband Shelah Ashford. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Christian (Dwayne) of Lebanon, Michelle Pitts (Eric) of Watertown and Nathaniel Ashford of Portland; her grandchildren, Christopher Christian, Destany Christian, Harley Jo Ashford and Luke Pitts; and her great grandchildren, Ella, JD Christian, Alva Demoor and Sophia Christian. She is also survived by her siblings and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Watertown, TN 37184). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
