He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Love Anderson Carney and Thomas A. Carney; and his siblings, Joyce Walker Hicks, Doris Anderson, Elmo Carney and Max Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Carney; his daughters, Sandra Carney and Lisa Brickenden (Ted); his grandchildren, Caleb Fesler (Britney), Ethan Fesler (Katherine), Victoria Bondurant (Garrett) and Chandler Brickenden; his siblings, Charlene Anderson, Billie Magill and Charles Carney; and his daughter Penelope. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Thomas' love of country and military be honored through donations to Tunnels to Towers or Wounded Warriors.
