He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gibson and Dorothy Gibson; his siblings, Rob Gibson and Karen Scott; and his son Cory Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gibson; his children, Addi and Chris Thompson (Kat); his grandchildren, Owen, Presley Thompson and Levi Johns; his brother-in-law Carl Scott; and his children, Jason Gibson and Rachel Gibson. He is also survived by one niece, one nephew, and numerous cousins.
