Thomas Donald Oakley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Donald Oakley of Lebanon, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fate Oakley and Alberta Bennett Oakley; his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Bobby Harvey; and his grandparents, William Haskell Oakley (Mary Annie Netherton) and Charlie Brown Bennett (Effie Lena Jones).

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hammers Oakley; his children, Anita Faye Oakley (Greg Jordan), Donald Wayne Oakley (April Deshea) and David Allen Oakley (Lori Howard); his grandchildren, Holly Danielle Cox, Ashley Nichole Sevier (Brian), Thomas Harrison Oakley (Haley), Leigha Michele Oakley, Cody J. Oakley Raymond, Deshea Bree Oakley and Anya Breez Oakley; his great grandchildren, Payton Alexandra Headrick (Tucker), Ashton Rhea Harris, Carlee Faye Sevier and Lucas Sevier; his brother Ronald Oakley (Dorothy); and his sister-in-law Ruth Dobson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideons International or the Wilson County Veterans Association.
