Anthony Hartman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Hartman (Lenoir City, Tennessee), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Anthony shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anthony farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony J. Hartman and Catherine L. Hartman (Kobler); his sister Elizabeth Hartman Murray (Betty); his wife Marianne Kavanagh; and his children, Katherine Bolton, Tony, Black, Anne Gearin (Robert) and MaryEllen. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1580 St Thomas Way, Lenoir City, TN 37772). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He received a complete scholarship from the Arthur J. Schmitt Foundation to attend Fournier Institute of Technology in Lemont, IL and the University of Illinois in Urbana, where he graduated with a BSEE.
