It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brent Lay of Lenoir City, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Burton Lamar Mull, Ola Grove Mull, Kenneth Ted Lay Sr. and Sue Wakefield Lay Coleman; and his uncles, Richard Pickell and Larry Mull.
He is survived by: his parents, Ken Lay and Gaye Lay; his brother Blake Lay (Sally); his sibling's children, Paxton Lay and Reilly Vaughn; and his aunts, Jean Pickell, Judy Lay, Brenda Smith, Peggy Sliger, Donna Sumner and Sheree Daley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
