He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Barton and Rosa Anderson Barton. He is survived by: his wife Jonell Barton; his son Bret Barton (Lori) of Chattanooga; his grandson Tyler Barton (Amanda) of Chattanooga; and his siblings, Joann Malone of Smyrna, GA and Dan Barton (Barbara) of Sterling, VA. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Click Funeral Home (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
