He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Franklin Watson and Elizabeth Titsworth Watson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann of Lakota; his children, Darren (Michelle) of Blue Ridge and Cari Ann Clawson (Jason Roe); his grandchildren, Kolton (Courtney) of Knoxville and Darryen (Ethan Roscoe) of Portland Oregon; his great grandchild Gunnar of Knoxville; and his sister Linda Black (Richard).
