He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Workman and Mary Workman; his wife Joan Workman; his daughter Debra Buchanan; and his brothers, Robert and Fred Workman.
He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Workman of Charleston, SC, Mark Workman of Charleston, SC, Timothy Workman of Charleston, SC and Richard Workman of Knoxville; and his siblings, Jim Workman of Pennsylvania, Mary Alice Strobel of South Carolina and Sara Tyler of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery (8101 City Park Dr, Lenoir City, TN 37772).
