Franklin D. Cagle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin D. Cagle of Lenoir City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Cagle and Myrtle Cagle; and his siblings, Peggy Sarah Cagle, Bobbie June Clayton and Charles Cagle.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cagle; his children, Rick Cagle and Fran; his son-in-law Rick Sandidge; his grandchildren, Jameson Cagle (Alicia), Shannon Weaver (Michael), Sherah Carney (David), Derek Sandidge (Grace), Lauren Sandidge and Nathan Sandidge (Brittany); and his brothers, Donald Cagle, Daniel Cagle, Billy Cagle and Gary Cagle. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Lenoir City Building Fund.
