He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Soward and Mary Soward; and his sister Emily Soward Brookshire. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Soward (Angela), Shane Soward and Jennifer Johnsey; and his grandsons, Ethan Soward and Austin Soward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
