He was predeceased by: his wife Willie Jean Brown; his granddaughter Brooke Torbett; his parents, John Lee of Washington and Mary Lydia Shirk Brown; and his sisters, Doloris Brown Johnson and Nancy Brown Gossage.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Brown and Tammy Brown; his sister Joyce Brown Lusby (Linda Brown Evans); and his brother-in-law Jim Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
