She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Purdy Bohanan; her grandchildren, Andrew Bohanan (Melissa), Robert Bohanan (Amber) and Bridgette Moore (Anthony); and her sisters, Josie "Joy" Johnson and Kathy Harvey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
