He is survived by: his wife Bettye Redmon Bennett of Lenoir City, Tennessee; his children, Rusty Bennett (Darlene) of Springfield, Chris Bennett (Jackie) of Maryville, Tina Wright (Steve) of Sanford and Ted Bennett (Tamara) of Smithfield, Virginia; his siblings, Maurine Dement, Bernice Boring, La Verne Easterly (Jack), Katherine Gibson (Steve), Laura Bennett, Brenda Medlin (Ron) and Olin Bennett (Nadine); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Bennett Thomasson and Nina Bennett. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
