He is survived by: his children, Jeremy McKissack (Lynell) of Waxahachie, TX, Monica Wilkerson (Jason) of La Vergne, TN, Lee McKissack (Jessica) of Loretto, TN and Krissy Webb of Lawrenceburg, TN; and his siblings, Alice "Gaye" Hardy (Al) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Fred McKissack of Leoma, TN and Mark McKissack (Melody) of Leoma, TN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
