Thelma Taylor Doss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Taylor Doss of Leoma, Tennessee, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taylor and Mabel Marston Gibson; her former husband Herbert Taylor; her husband Troy Doss; her sisters, Mary Bivens, Ruth White and Evelyn Glass; her son Larry Dale Taylor; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Taylor (Beverly) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Richard Taylor of Leoma, TN, Janet Glass (Jay Dee) of Leoma, TN, Kathy McLearan (Denis) of Tulsa, OK and Karen Fesler (Dan) of Cookeville, TN; and her daughter-in-law Joyce Taylor. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Fall River Cemetery Fund.
