We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 89, William Allen Dorning of Leoma, Tennessee, born in Harvest, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Irving and Clarice Steelman Dorning; his wife Patty Hughey Dorning; his daughter Angie Dorning Johnson (Guinn) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and his siblings, Irving Dorning, Kenneth Ray "Ken" Dorning, Joan Dorning, Helen Dorning Hudson and Sue Kinsey Boswell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Dorning of Franklin, TN and Christie Dorning White (Donnie) of Ethridge, TN; his grandchildren, Kelli Gartner (Chris) of Port St, Will Hutton (Jennifer) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Ben Hutton (Kelly) of Nolensville, TN, Lauren White Arrington (Brian) of Nashville, TN, Luke White (Julia) of Ethridge, TN, Catie Dorning Crews (Brady) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Carli Dorning Clark (Jake) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Sophie Dorning of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Jack Ryan Carpentier, Alyssa Sisemore, Halle Hutton, Harper Hutton, Griffin Hutton, Brodie Hutton, Russell Hutton, Bette White, Tatum White, Beckham Arrington, Claire Arrington, Finn Crews, Liam Crews, Cole Crews, Ellie Clark and Jolee Clark; and his siblings, Jerry Dorning (Karen) and Janet Mick of Huntsville, TN..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
