He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jones and Eva Jones; and his brother David Jones. He is survived by: his wife Avis Jones; and his daughters, LaWanda Henderson, Shonda Jones and Angelica Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
