He is survived by : his wife Ann Beasley Cothran; his son James Robert Cothran (Renea); his granddaughter Audrey Chae Bobier (Chase); his brother John Steven Cothran (Cheryl); his niece Rebecca Blair (Tim); and his nephews, Johnny Cothran (Jennifer), Christopher Fryer (Caitlin), Geoffrey Fryer (Stephanie) and Colin Rhoades (Lauren).
