He was predeceased by: his parents, John Myrtle Liggett and Lottie Mae Conner Liggett; his wife Ima Faye Liggett; and his sisters, Evelyn Lands of Beatrice Stewart and Lily Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Liggett (Teresa) of Murfreesboro, TN and Sandra Weaver (Tom) of Petersburg, TN; his siblings, Charles Liggett of Estill Springs, TN and Betty Jean Fuller of Lewisburg, TN; his grandchildren, Brandi Hargrove (Tye) and Chris Cathey; his great grandchildren, Madison Hargrove, Blayze Hargrove, Charity Cathey, Kaleb Cathey and Krissy Cathey; and his close friend Sandy Wilson.
