He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Kollman and Les Sturgis; and his sister Peggy Charlton. He is survived by: his wife Lee Perry Coe; his children, Becky Jamison (Jamie) of Lewisburg, Aaron Coe (Donna) of Killeen, TX and Neill Gathings (America) of Cookeville; his brothers, Howard Coe (Sherry) of Caddo Mills, TX and Tommy Coe (Callie) of Pensacola, FL; and his grandchildren, Ezra, Tristan, Ryan, Riley, Bella, Claudia, Emily and Jaxon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, a devoted father and mentor to his children, and was married to his best friend, his soul mate and the love of his life for 53 years.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the London Funeral Home (324 W Church St, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Lone Oak Cemetery (200 Lone Oak Dr, Lewisburg, TN 37091).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
