We announce the death of Kayla Salyers Peters (Lewisburg, Tennessee), born in Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 29. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Kenneth and Angelika Salyers. She is survived by: her parents, Richard Kilgore and Antonia Hill; her brothers, Allen, Blake and Bentley Kilgore; her stepsister Carrie Hooten (Steve); her grandfather Doug Doyle (Corinna "Nana"); her aunts and uncles, Dave Salyers (Donna), Brian Doyle (Ariel), Jacob Pigg (Cassidy), Katelynn Doyle and Stephanie Smith (Jay); and her close friend Andrea Longshore. She is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home & Crematory (755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory (755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091).
