He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald K. Powers, Sr. and Linda L. Hathaway Powers; and his former wife Coleen L. Powers. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Powers; his daughter Amy Powers of Olathe, Kansas; his stepchildren, Joseph Sonnier and Misty Sonnier; and his siblings, Michael E. Powers (Terri J.) of Abbeville, Alabama and Debi L. White, Sr. (Kevin L.) of Martinez, Georgia.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
