He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Butler and Paul Butler; his wife Freda Butler; his son Mark Butler; and his siblings, Jack Butler, Joe Butler, Mary Jones, Alma Browder, Margie Cherry and Virginia Utley.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamelia Butler Tolley (Marty); his grandchildren, Crystal Tolley Bowman (Michael Newsom) and Mark Tolley (Lindsay); and his great grandchildren, Camryn Bowman, Duke Tolley, Kaylan Tolley, Jessyln Wattenburger, Avery Newsom, Enzley Newsom, Fowler Newsom, Derek Bowman and Billy Bowman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reeds Chapel (302 W Church St, Lexington, TN 38351).
