He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Lee and Rose Lee Reed; his wife Ava Nelle Veteto Reed; and his half-sister Gladys Wright. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Lou Hollin Reed; his stepdaughters, Ginger Bankston (Kevin) and Jan Page (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Hollin (Joyce) and Tommy Hollin (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and their spouses.
