He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wright and Loraine Wright (Regina Henry); and his siblings, Glen Wright (Linda) of Olive Branch, MS and Peggy Hollanger of Stuttgart, AR.. He is survived by: his siblings, Floraine Edgar (Dennis) of Lilburn, GA, Nita Middleton (Roy) of Enville, TN, Guy Wright (Shirley) of Smyrna, TN, Bruce Wright (Paula) of Reagan, TN and Jim Wright (Martha Skelton) of Chattanooga, TN; and his niece Joyce Ann Landreth of Lexington, TN..

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Shiloh Cemetery (1055 Pittsburg Landing Rd, Shiloh, TN 38376).
