He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Harris; and his stepchildren, Robert (Irene), Risa (Richy) and Kevin (Lisa). He is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren; and 32 step-great-grandchildren.

His love for God was evident in his every interaction, and he embodied the Christian values of kindness, patience, and charity, which endeared him to all who knew him.
