She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Doss Nichols and Mamie Coats Nichols; her siblings, Robert Nichols and Arlene Felmey; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Jo Deroshia and Tate Lindsey, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lindsey, Jr., Tate Lindsey (Wendy) and Kathy Malloy (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Michael Malloy, Jordan Malloy, Mackenzie McNaughton, Casey Lindsey and Paige Lindsey. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
