With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry James Barker (Lexington, Tennessee), who passed away on May 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Barker and Delphia Barker; and his sister Joan Barker Neely. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dickson Barker; his children, Gina Montgomery (Greg), Lori Middleon, Stacey Barker and Todd Barker; his siblings, Jenece Scott (Norman), Carol Horn (Robert), Pam Chandler (Tracy), Junior Barker (Carolyn), Jerry Barker (Judy) and Stanley Barker (Vicki); his grandchildren, Haley Renteria (Miguel), Allie Gibbs, Ryan Gibbs, Gus Montgomery, Tyler Alexander, Tanner Alexander, Jake Barker and Kimber Barker; and his great grandchild Hudson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Union Hill Baptist Church (105 Union Hill Church Rd, Reagan, TN 38368). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025.
